The Carroll County Republican Central Committee welcomes you to our website. Our committee is comprised of nine independent thinkers from all walks of life - business people, moms and dads, government employees and retired folks each of whom bring different views and ideas to the table. Our meetings are held the fourth Thursday of every month and start at 7:00pm in the conference room at Carroll Insulation located at 49 Venture Way, Eldersburg, MD 21784. The mission of the Central Committee is to nurture and support Republican candidates for elected office. We do this in several ways including recruiting and promoting viable Republican candidates, door-to-door literature drops, placement of yard signs, fundraisers, phone banking and voter registration drives. Success requires many volunteers willing to give of their time and resources. • I believe the strength of our nation lies with the individual and that each person’s dignity, freedom, ability and responsibility must be honored.
• I believe government must practice fiscal responsibility and allow individuals to keep more of the money they earn.
• I believe the proper role of government is to provide only those critical functions that cannot be performed by individuals or private organizations and that the best government is that which governs least.
• Finally, I believe the Republican Party is the best vehicle for translating these ideals into positive and successful principles of government.
