Republican candidates and the Republican Party are always in need of volunteers to help in a variety of ways. Remember, candidates at all levels (federal, state, and local) can use your help. Here is a list of different ways to get involved:
Door Knocking
Directly greeting your neighbors at their door is a great way to promote a candidate. If you enjoy meeting new people face-to-face and personally engaging with potential supporters, contact the campaign you wish to help. Door knocking efforts are often coordinated directly by the campaigns and use downloadable apps on your phone.

Phone Calls
Want to maximize how many people you personally tell about a candidate? There's no better way than making calls from the comfort of your own home. Phone calling efforts are coordinated directly by the campaigns and often use downloadable apps on your phone. Contact the candidate's campaign and let them know that you want to help.

Sign Waving
Say it loud, say it proud! Sign wavers get together in groups big and small to wave to passing traffic to promote candidates and the Republican Party. Sign waving events are organized by the candidate's campaign, the local or state branch of the Republican Party, or by local Republican clubs.
Contact the candidate's campaign you wish to help.

Donations/Fundraising/Event Hosting
Without financial support, nothing happens. Donating to a candidate and/or to the Republican Party helps us keep moving the message forward. You may also wish to host an event at your home on behalf of a candidate. Contact the candidate's campaign you wish to help. Support your local Carroll County Republican Party by donating today.

Poll Staffers
Poll staffers: Poll staffers work either on behalf of a single candidate or the Republican Party. You stand outside the polling place and promote the candidate(s) to arriving voters by handing out literature and/or holding signs. This also involves placing yard signs at the polling place the night before and taking them down after the polls close on Election Day. Contact the candidate's campaign or contact us to find out how to help.

Poll & Canvassing Watchers
Poll & canvass watchers observe the voting process either at the polling location or during the counting of mail-in ballots. They may also challenge any suspicious activity they observe and may challenge voters concerning their identity. Important note: Maryland law only allows challenges of voters about their identity, not their address or any other criteria. If interested, contact us so we can meet you and provide training.
